Happy Birthday Matthew! Hey, remember that time that you thought you were 25 for months and months and then Kim was visiting and said "Matt! You're only 24! Look at your drivers license..." and then you did and realized she was right and felt like you had been given a year of your life back...
That time was hilarious.
The funniest part about that, John... and this feels pretty silly... is that the same thing actually happened to me again! The following year I thought I was 26 (and introduced myself to Krista as being 26) until I went to get my license renewed and found out I was 25. I actually felt pretty sheepish about it that time! Constantly living on borrowed time. For the record, I was born September 13, 1978 in Trenton, Ontario.
yep you were. i remember that day. i was sleeping over at the morrow's and dad came by with polaroids of you and mom. the photos all had these obscure bright flashes on them like candle flames. i thought that was cool too. and i knew you'd be a boy. i was big into symytry at the age of four and it was essential that there be equality amongst the sibling genders, so i prayed every supper for you to be.
happy it all worked out.
Pam was telling me last week how she remembered you praying that each night, Kim. I am so blessed! That's neat about the polaroids, too!
Happy Birthday to the REAL "best brother in the world", the proof of that is that I thought today was your birthday! What a sucker I am. But as a fellow Virgo, I know your forgiving nature (and your taste for fine gin).
